Hello, my name is Sheenin Bey, and I am a grade 7 student in Tokyo International School, Japan. I am attending the summit because I want to learn how to collaborate with other people in different places. I want to be able to take advantage of the new technologies available, and use it to enhance my learning experiences.

In FCC 2013, I think that we will be discussing about the issues around the world, and what we could do to help those who are suffering. It may not be simply donating money to charities, but maybe even helping them from another country.

I have experienced the March 11th earthquake myself, when I was in school. I felt the tension around me, and how  my peers were. I think that this is an important issue to discuss, although it is almost two years since this event. However, the lives of the people in the worst-hit areas have not regained back. As reported in Yomiuri Daily on March 5th (http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/national/T130304003707.htm), many people are less willing to help, support or volunteer these affected people, because they think that there is no need to do so anymore. We need to voice out this issue again, so that the affected people can have a better life.

Overall, I am looking forward to learning many new things in the upcoming FCC!

This is a very good point.  People tend to forget or "move-on" after a tragedy.
How can we educate people that this tragedy is not yet in the past and people are still suffering?
