My name is Alicia and I'm from the American School in Japan. I am attending the Flat Classroom Conference to broaden my views on different topics regarding our planet, in order to achieve a wider perspective. Based on what I have seen from the Ning, I suspect that many students will approach the question "how do we help each other out?" with technology. Technology is a vital tool to use for communicating in this age. Although, I believe that helping the people in Tohoku is a wonderful thing; I would like to be part of a project that involves abused/neglected/endangered animals. From the Ning, I hope to learn more about using technology effectively in order to "build bridges today, that society tomorrow will walk across".
