Course Selections

This week the students at Spring Woods High School are selecting their courses for next school year. I've had a plethora of students asking me about how they can sign up for the BEIS course. The Business Education Independent Study (BEIS) class is the one I've chosen to incorporate the Flat Classroom Project into...the premise of the Project fits very well with the Texas state standards listed for the course.

My Reflection: Conference Day 1

Today began the official first day of the conference. This morning we went on a bus tour of Doha, followed by a visit to the Islamic Arts Museum.

Afterward, we made our first trip to Qatar Academy. The Academy is part of Education City in Doha. It is a magnificent facility! There are both primary and secondary campuses there as well as several higher education campuses--including a Texas A&M Campus! Wow! How would some of you Aggies like to finish your degree in Doha!
